Exploration finds out immense gold deposits in Tamar
A new exploration by the Geological Survey of India found out that the Tamar region of the state of jharkhand has gold mines up to 7 million tonnes. This information is surely bound to change the outlook of the state.’
There are other places like Chandil in Seraikela-Kharsawan and Potka in East Singhbhum in Indiathat promises the mines of the yellow metal. But Tamar is considered to be the key site for gold reserves.
The exploratory works in Tamar has been started since 2007 and gold deposit up to 2 million were explored at three hamlets. The amount of gold deposits is rising with more intense exploration projects. Moreover, it is expected to find more gold and mineral deposits in the Subharnarekha river basin.
After the meeting Of the Geological Programme Board, the director G.K.Gupta said” Tamar is crucial to scientific exploration of gold”. The exploration in 10 zones of jharkhand is already in progress.
The price of gold is on its heights throughout the world. With the exploration of this vast gold deposits, the state is expected to earn immensely from Tamar.
More exploration works are in progress with the aim to locate magnetite, limestone, kyanite, granite, phosphorite, iron ore and manganese deposits in the state. – BullionStreet
