Gold price in Hong Kong closed at 16,168 HK dollars per tael on Thursday

The gold price in Hong Kong rose 308 HK dollars to close at 16,168 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,745.56 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 33.25 U.S. dollars at the latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.775 HK dollars.
