Gold surged by Rs 257 to close at Rs 50,057 per 10 grams in Pakistan

Gold surged by Rs 257 to close at Rs 50,057 per 10 grams in the local market Tuesday as its international price improved to $ 1,739 an ounce, market sources said.

According to the Karachi Saraf Association officials, tola (11.664 grams) price also jumped by Rs 300 to close at Rs 58,400.

Silver closed unchanged at Rs 925.71 per 10 grams.
